Project Introduction

Stereotactic radiotherapy is a major method of tumor treatment currently. The efficiency of radiotherapy always rely on the tumor radiosensitivity that has close relationship with tumor type and tumor microenvironment. During radiotherapy, most of cancer cells could be killed by fractionated irradiation but a few of them may become radioresistant and then remain to survive, resulting in tumor reoccurrence and tumor metastasis. Lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) and liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC) are major types of tumors in Chinese, while glioblastoma (GBM) is a common and refractory intracranial tumor in the world. To know the spectrum of regulation genes related to radiation-induced radioresistance, it has important implications to develop new therapy targets againsttumorradioresistance and hence improve the efficiency of radiotherapy.

Funded by the National Key Research and Development Project (No. 2017YFC0108604), we have established the radioresistant cell lines of NPC, LUAD, LIHC and GBM andanalyzed the difference of proteomic characteristics between radioresistant cells and their parental cell lines. We would like to share the results by this online database source.
